Why EDI+?
EDI+ aims to move EDI research off the paper and into practice by challenging biased norms; inspiring under-represented groups; innovating approaches for making changes; and enable improvement through monitoring and evaluation.
Many EDI tools are known and many new ones are invented, but few are evaluated to determine how effective they are, whether they work against their stated intentions, or have unintended consequences. Building on lessons learned from other research projects, particularly Inclusion Matters (link?), the EDI+ team is well-placed to support two Cohorts of EDI+ Fellows (internal link), from the energy research community, and give them the time, training and resources to review organisational EDI policies and practice, evidence the need for change, implement and review an action plan.
